& Man Behind AB Electrical

I started AB Electrical in 2018 after 15 years in the trade, and after seeing too many Sydney electrical businesses cut corners on quality and customer service. I wanted to build something different.

I completed my apprenticeship in 2008 at a small local business where it was just me and the boss. That hands-on start taught me the value of doing things properly and looking after people. Over the years I worked across fire services, commercial solar, and maintenance before deciding to go out on my own.

Today, I lead a team of 13 from our Crows Nest office. I still personally oversee quality on every job, prepare larger quotes and tenders, and make sure the business runs the way I’d want it to if I were the customer. When I’m not on the tools or in the office, you’ll find me surfing, spending time with my two kids, or grabbing a coffee at Cafe Eighty-Eight in North Sydney.

My goal is simple: build a trusted local brand where customers know they’ll be looked after, and where my team genuinely enjoys coming to work.
